President Salva Kiir on Monday issued an executive order sacking his finance minister Aggrey Tisa Sabuni.

The order read on the state-owned South Sudan Television did not cite any reason for the change.

Sabuni has been replaced with David Deng Athorbei, who previously served in the same function and was replaced by Kosti Manibe in the 2011 cabinet reshuffle. Sabuni has been reappointed a presidential advisor.
