Rwanda Defense Force trains South Sudan teachers in ICT skills

Rwanda Peacekeepers (Rwanbatt1) deployed in UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) trained 20 primary schools teachers in basic computer training course at New Kapuri Primary School, Northern Bari Payam in Juba.
Mary Tomalu, the Director of Northern Bari Payam said that the training will contribute significantly in addressing education challenges and enhance the trainees’ capacity to fulfill their task in their respective institutions.
On behalf of twenty two graduates, Ade Emmanuel Moses hailed Rwandan Contingent for the wonderful job that they have done to the community of Kapuri starting from the construction of the school that will improve learning conditions of pupils.
Rwanda Contingent Commander, Col M Nkangura said that the training was an opportunity for teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
“We hope the package delivered will benefit the teachers as well as the school”
Rwanda peacekeepers constructed Kapuri Primary School with 8 classrooms, two school offices and latrines as new facilities to support pupils who were learning in poor conditions.
