The RACE

The 2014 Comrades Marathon took place on 1 June, this past weekend. As always, this year's race contained all of the drama and excitement associated with the Comrades. It is not viewed as one of the premier ultra-marathons in the world without good reason. It remains a tough race!

The S4J team had 108 athletes in this year's team. As every previous year: some did not finish the distance. Yet, the team were rewarded with three gold medals and five silver medals. The team utilize their participation in the Comrades to raise funds in support of God's work in the Sudans.
